Repeat Prescriptions

Order Your Repeat Prescriptions Online Using Patient Access.

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by completing the right-hand section of your previous prescription form and either leaving it at the surgery or sending it to us by post. You can also order repeat prescriptions online using Patient Access.

The Practice only accept prescription requests over the telephone for patients over 80 years old or have been granted permission by the practice and an alert is on your medical records.  We ask our patients to ring between 12-2pm to place their requests

Your prescription will be ready for collection 48 hours later

We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.

You need to register to use our online repeat prescription ordering service and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of our receptionists.

Electronic Prescribing

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the pharmacy you choose to get your medicines from.

You will not have to visit the surgery to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, it will be sent electronically to the pharmacy you choose.

You will be able to choose any pharmacy close to where you live or work, reducing waiting times for your repeat prescription. Please ask your pharmacist or collect an application form from the surgery.
