These are booked on an appointment basis from 2.00pm daily. These appointments are only for conditions that need assessment urgently. Appointments are allocated in order and cannot be requested by a specific time
Each afternoon there is one doctor on call for all urgent cases and emergencies in the practice, who may be called out to an emergency. This doctor will also be taking telephone calls and triaging all medical enquiries and prioritising the cases, inevitably there will be occasions where you do have to wait, perhaps quite a while.
