To book an initial telephone consultation with a physiotherapist, please call our booking centre on
0300 300 0046 Monday-Friday 09:00 – 16:00. (please do NOT call this number for Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital or Glenfield Hospital)
When you call please make sure you:
. Have your NHS number and mobile/home number available
. Inform us if you have any communication barriers. We will then work with you to make appropriate arrangements
This is NOT appropriate for treatment in your home, under 16 year olds, breathing problems, continence issues, stroke or other neurological conditions. Your GP needs to refer you do a different service
When You Call: You will speak to the Booking Centre who will agree a time and date for your telephone appointment
During The Appointment: A physiotherapist will call you and ask you about your symptoms and medical history. This may take up to 30 minutes. Please make sure that you have a list of your medication
Further Appointments: If the physiotherapist feels a further appointment is required, this will be discussed
